App Installation & Activation
- The application can be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store.
- Upon initial launch, users will be prompted to manually enter their License ID to activate the application.
- Once activated, the License ID is retained; users do not need to re-enter it after app updates.
App Updates
- The application will automatically update if the device is configured to auto-update apps via the App Store.
- Update timing is controlled by Apple and may vary (typically several hours to a few days after release).
- Updates are generally applied overnight or when the iPad is idle.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- The Health System may manage deployment and configuration through its existing MDM solution (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
- No additional setup is required from V-Pass for Intune deployment.
- For optimal management and streamlined app installation/updates, an Apple Business Manager account is recommended (free, but requires verified business information).
